599 GTO, here I come
#64
Update! I cancelled my allocation.
Due to the Carrera GT purchase that occurred recently.
Out of the two. I would much rather have the Carrera GT over the 599 GTO. Plus I'm out of space as it is for the next year. Maybe, this might be back on the cards at some stage next year. We'll see what happens

. Well, you know I got some parking space. I could take care of it until you've got more space next year

Wow, I was late for just a bit of time to this thread and the situation changed before I even was able to congratulate Mike with the GTO purchase
In any case, I completely understand your decision to take CGT over GTO. CGT is purpose built and really one of best supercars of the decade. That oportunity with CGT was rare and it great that you bought this car.
Anyway, you will be able to jump on GTO later if you will still want it after CGT, with all my respect to this car, I do not think it will jump in the value like Enzo.

I do agree that it will not jump in value as it's Ferrari counter part, but that was not the intention. I have always had a fondness and attraction towards the car. Now I can take off the poster and open my garage door

The GTO will be a remarkable car no doubt. It just wasn't as high on my priority list. Do take into consideration the CGT was from a different era. The CGT is like the modern day F40, the last true and raw supercar. The 918 will be fantastic, but it's a hybrid and won't have a howling Leman V10 in the back.
