More details about 599 Spider

Article by Czechferrari, photos taken by them too. I tried to translate this article in English, sorry if it not so good:

The fact that the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, it should get its option open to speculation a long time. Finally there are more facts about this model.

After first look at the photos in the gallery will probably tell what that Czechferrari mad, because this is California! Do not be fooled, however, and bear the first impression, because that is exactly what developers want from Maranello. Carefully study some parts of the car. Continue to study and identify the moment when things come to dashboard it will be clear.

Ferrari mule testing in the open version of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, and it can be called such as Spider or Barchetta. Ferrari eventually be surprised by us as unexpected name. Seemingly incomprehensible hump in the roof is completed mules moved seats and protective arches future Spider 599 GTB.

Ferrari is secret of course about any technical and about number of cars, which it plans to produce. It is commonly assumed that the number does not exceed number of 500 cars. Price news should not be less than EUR 270K. Given the limited series production of this Ferrari world premiere is expected not to take place before the Paris Motor Show 2010.

This is going to look so good. I suppose Ferrari felt compelled to release something to compete against the Aston Martin DBS Volante.

It is... You really can't tell anything by the mule, besides the fact that something is in the works.

I think the 599 has the potential to be a truly epic, stunning drop-top GT.

I'm not so sure about it. As a car, yes. By the looks, no.
Tbh even though the 599 is such an epic car I've never been as thrilled by seeing one as I have by a Murci or even a F430. I just think it's far too lame from the back, somehow dull.
But as I said, as a car it is an extremely impressive machine.

I anxiously await the final product - the mule is uninspiring.
