Great pictures. The nose to nose shot of the F40s is great.

I like the California from the front and the front three quarters view, but the rear just reminds of the Lexus SC430.

Why is the emblem on the drophead coupe translucent looking? Is it just me or is it, in fact, a special emblem?

It is indeed special. It illuminates at night and it retracts into the grill when you want it to.
