I love the brakes, they look like art to themselves without being installed on the car.

Those look like carbon dust covers, you can see where there is a change in depth due to it covering the lug. I think they just left the caliper exposed, while covering the disc.

That would build a LOT of heat in the brakes to have a dust shield like that. I'm sure Ferrari knows what they're doing but I'm surprised they didn't do CF wheel covers like they have in F1. Those kid of wheel covers just made a production car debut on the Gumpert Apollo Speed (if you can really call it a production car haha).

those can have integrated brake ducts ?

Yeah, the ones on the F1 cars and Apollo Speed both have cooling ducts built into the covers. Some of the 2009 F1 cars even have snorkels built into the cover itself to direct fresh air right onto the caliper.
