Ferrari California now on Ferrari owners site...

You can clearly see that they gear this car towards women when you can order, small racing seats, glamour and vintage packages...

Some are speculating that this car is going to hurt the F430 but I just don't see it. Some will buy it as an entry machine just to have the Ferrari name but the F430 is still mid engine, high horse, balanced, etc. The Cali will be cool but no F430.

Exactly what tblackj said: It's cool but I'd rather have F430 with Novitec wheels. On the other hand if you need a DD, California could be the winner.

Maintenance will probably be cheaper than a F430.
That is the only reason i could see myself (IF i really could) picking that over a 430.
Plus it doesn't seem like the high revving hot head that the latter is.
More of a weekend cruiser with the spouse and young child

Is the Ferrari config site back up? I remember they disabled the site a while back after I was having so much fun playing with the 599 configurations. Felix, that California looks stunning! I'd love to have a crack at designing my own if you can post a link...
