Yes, 599 is extremely hot but I'm not so sure this F-Car will hold its value relative to the markup...

Also, another issue here is the 6speed transmission. From what I understand, these have actually proved a little problematic in use...a lot of the F1 systems are connected to the diff/suspension on the 599 gtb...and it affects the driveability when these are not in play. Some of the first manual cars have proved a real headache to "get running right"

the F1 system on the 599GTB is superb....honestly, I think the manual box may be a step backward on that car (as much as I love manual boxes and the traditional gated shifter)

I understand that sentiment, and in the end its what makes you happy. I think the tech has come a long way, and I doubt anyone would be seriously disappointed with the 60ms shifts in the Scuderia ! I was diehard anti F1 shift until I tried a CS...then I had to have one !

I guess I'm in the same position as you were, never tried the Ferrari F1 system so I shouldn't be saying anything. the only thing I have to compare to is the Audi/VW DSG.

The 599 pretty much requires the f1 otherwise you are throwing away a significant part of the overall package that makes the 599 what it is. As for the prices 410 is low and it's low because the 6spd, if that car was f1 it would be 450s.

P.S. You guys know the prices went up 15% this year too right? So now instead of 330 for a decent F1 its 375+

unreal what these dealers are getting away with.

Though I am sure Ferrari doesnt care too much since the dealers are still moving cars.

That was my thinking, Jas. The 599GTB has to have the flappy paddles.
