2012 Porsche GT3RS Corrective Detail W/Clearfilm
Recently completed job with the help once again of Daniel from Car Connoisseur, this GT3RS was used as expected and had "Track patina" to correct. Started off removing the hurting pre-cut failness film and also it was decided to remove the factory graphics for a clean uniform look.
After the thorough wash, de-stickered and now ready for clay step.
Drivers door with marring.
Working out the defects.
Factory pigtail sand scratches.
Equal opportunity sand scratches..............driverside wheel arch had them as well.
All better.
Working out deep marring on lower drivers rocker.
Same area leveled, compound haze removed with subsequent fine polishing steps.
Daniel on the fine polish step to prepare for the full X-Pel wrap being applied the next morning.

#2
A deep one on the drivers rear quarter.
The rear bumper was really tore up.
50/50 now the finish was getting that "F-22 Raptor look".
Engine bay was next, hard water etch.
After.........................
Fan and shroud cleaned and dressed for the satin look.
Decklid intake grill cured of "The dry look" ............cleaned and dressed.
Carbon wing looking clear and glossy.
Coming together.
Cowl and trunk plastic with the preferred satin finish.
"All business alcantara" interior.
Cage in the foreground denotes "Non-poser track status".
Looking good inside......................
Or outside......................................
Clearfilm looking proper.
*Note, splitter is being replaced so not dressed as the side skirts*.
Who better to do that than Sharkwerks and the capable hands of James, taken to their facility a block away for a few goodies to make this already tight vehicle even more so.
What's that in the background a 904........... oh yes.
Last pic of the wing looking it's best.
