Ferrari F-40 Detail for Forza Magazine Photoshoot
Called back by a customer who used me in 2007 when I did the car with Tony Ito @ my old shop Performance Art, the entire vehicle had been wrapped in clearfilm sans the back portion of the car. As I was in high production mode (Read busy) I had the help once again of Daniel from Car Connoisseur coming up from So.Cal. Here are some pics taken to show the condition before we got started.
Correction shown on the wing.
Hand compounding underside of finish where a buffer did not work well.
Getting as much done in one day as possible, two Rupes 21's going full speed(Not literally as I know some guys run there Rupes at top speed on everything) the vehicle had a little "Patina" .
Before.
After.
Daniel working hard(Footnote*) as this day I had a bad sinus headache the whole day................ Daniel picked up the slack and then some.................... A soldier in every sense of the word.
We did some light polishing of the marring in the Lexan engine cover, time would not permit 100 percent correction.
Light cleaning of the Twin Turbo set-up.
Polishing the clearfilm on the mirror.
Daniel handling the door jambs(Shuts).
Wheel polishing.
On the home stretch later that evening.
