Alpina B12 5.7 8 Series Detail W/ Street Dreams Detail
Recently completed, I flew Dave out from New Jersey to help with a collection I am doing slowly. This vehicle is one of three in the USA according to the owner and I have not seen a car like this since I visited the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1999.
Dave getting pre-correction pics.
During the wash portion.
Trunklid was hazy with shrink/marring.
Yes some things can be corrected by hand, one detailer I know thought this is how you did things in the olden times(Youngsters......)
Old crust built up on the bottom of the rocker.
Making progress.
50/50 on the rocker.
Moonroof hazy, and with a bird poop etch to add insult to injury.
After cutting with Menz FG400, finish is clear once again.
50/50 on the topside of the rear bumper.
Dave handling the correction "J" style.
Myself holding the "Bank vault door heavy" trunk while "Jness" is accomplished.
Vehicle finished, restored to a high level once again.
