Tesla Model S New Car Detail
I had a longtime client just pick up one of these "Electric cars" and after detailing the vehicle it has some cool factor(Also there was one on the road on the way to Sacramento on Thanksgiving day and it looked pretty nice on the road). The finish was nice overall but there were the usual factory blemishes that need attention(Sand scratch tracers and rotary holograms) but after those issues were dealt with the car looked really good.
Pic of the car @ the Tesla factory(which is less than a mile from my shop).
Here is the car coming back for it's first detail, it was pretty dirty due to some storms we have in Norcal recently.
Rotary holograms.
Wax residue.
Dirty wheels.
Interior would need some work also.
Here is a "Non-factory" defect................ a cat put some real deep scratches on a few places of the car.
Good amount of material to work with.
After a few passes of compounding.
More cat scratches on lower drivers side of the trunk.
Scratches removed.
Sand scratch tracers, the vehicle was hand sanded as I did not see DA sand scratches on the car.
Tracers corrected.
RIDS.
Corrected.
Sand scratches.
Looking better.

More "Kitty"scratches.
These were the deepest scratches, and almost needed sanding to correct.
More factory defects.
Wheels & tires on point.
Front trunk storage area.
Rear hatchback storage, this car can haul quite a bit of luggage or grocery items.
All finished.
Evening delivery(Night before Thanksgiving so the vehicle had to go............).
Vehicle took just under 17 hours to correct, now the client can enjoy his unique and pretty quick car of the future.
