Silver McLaren New Car Detail
Just completed recently, this new McLaren has already seen track duty so the owner has been having fun with the vehicle as intended. This vehicle did not have as many factory defects as the White one I did a little while back but there were some, the real issue was the severe bird dropping etching concentrated on the roof and other top portions of the finish.
The car was in for service and upgrades, so the job was carried out @ McLaren San Francisco(Palo Alto....) so thanks again to Ron and Daryl in service.
Getting started washing off the track "Patina".

After the car was washed/clayed I took some readings to see what I had as I would be compounding heavy in areas.

Good to go.

Thunderhill/Laguna track evidence............

After cleaning & polishing on the factory clearfilm.

On to the roof where the heavy Bird etch was concentrated, readings constantly taken.

Pics of the damage.

Cluster of sand scratches.

Correcting the door.

"Laying down on the job".

Roof area looking smooth & clear once again.

Interior needed little, tastefully appointed with the Leather/Alcantara combo.

Wind was blowing pollen everywhere outside, so I kept the vehicle in the shop. LED pics to make sure.

Dirt & R Compound rubber removed, I put CG Blacklight on the Matte wheels........cleaness.

All finished.

McLaren SF had recieved more inventory, this was the first MP4-12C I had seen with Carbon Ceramic brakes parked next to my truck.

Volcano orange and a Metallic Black one, the first one I have seen in Black.
