2012 Shelby GT-350 Detail
Just completed vehicle which should have been a "New car prep" but some paint issues needed to addressed to make the car the best it could be for the upcoming Shelby Bash in Los Angeles & Las Vegas.
Here is the car being dropped off by Tom & Mike from the Shelby Club Norcal...........two GT350's @ The shop.
Jeff and I prepping the finish for clearfilm installation @ Premier.
One of the "Paint issues" to be fixed, sand scratches above and below the painted GT350 graphic.
"Bad a**" Mustang being "Gently driven to Premier which is close to me.
Car @ Premier.
Now it was time to take care of the "Sanding marks" as John the owner wanted this area to be wrapped.
\
Pic during the correction of the sanding marks.
Checking the correction level during the process(M101 with a Surbuf this time).
Close up pics of the defects.
Now the area is "Good to go" for the film coverage.
Now the car is handed of to Premier to complete their portion of the work.
The Shelby was brought back to me from Premier and I set out to complete the vehicle as the transport was coming to retrieve it for the Shelby Bash. Here are some more sand scratches on the rear bumper.
Defects removed.
Sand scratch tracers.
Same area corrected with a clear bright finish.
Rear face of the wing with sand scratches, had to proceed very carefully as their was not much clear to remove.
Looking better.
More deep tracers on the spoiler.
Trunk now smooth and clear.
Swissvax "Glasur" curing on the finish.
