Restoring color to a convertible top

Restoring color to a convertible top
What product(s) would be good to restore the color on a faded black Porsche top before using Raggtop or 303 protectant? It looks nice and black when wet, but faded grey/black when dry. The top is good shape otherwise, so I don't want to replace it yet.
