BMW Modified Detail & Aston Martin Detail

Another modified M3 from my neighbor next door (Alekshop), paint had some marring and the wheels and wheel wells/suspension were dirty due to recent track sessions. Interior needed some time spent as well with a little "Gum on the carpet issue".

Dirty wheels.

The "Silverstone finish" is very forgiving, but the marring was there evidenced by the black trim in this pic.

Off came the wheels, in this pic evidence of "Hack wheel shop" wire brush used to clean barrel for some unknown reason.

Copius amount of weights used, and this was on the inboard plane only!!!.

Wheels cleaned up.

Dirty wheel wells.

Same area after cleaning before wheel well shrouds were dressed.

Before.

After.

Brembo BBK looking better.

Steaming the brake assembly.

Rear right passenger side mat with stains and "Gum issue".

Froze the gum to aid in removing it with "Gum remover" what else..............(lol).

Loose threads were "Trimmed away".

Mat now free of gum and stains.

Alek installed a Supercharger on this vehicle as well.

Carbon fiber shined up.

Underside of the hood was cleaned as well.

Akrapovic titanium tightness obscured by dirt.

After.........................."Cleaness".

Clearfilm now defect free on the hood.

A few interior pics.

All finished.

ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE

As this was a quick clean up and the car was not bad no before pics, the color and lines of the car are just to nice not to share.

Great job Bob. It's nothing to work on clean cherries. But getting real detail work on cars like the m3, which are driven and enjoyed a lot, is where it's at!

Great job there BOB! I really like what you did with the license plate in the last picture. The owner must have been very... surprised!

Fantastic work mate,

What pad and polish combo did you use for these?

Have you tried or do you use the megs microfibre system? I am yet to use it but hear good things.
