2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Roadster by RCD and Auto Concierge

2008 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster Restoration by Richie's Custom Detailing and Auto Concierge.

I flew Bob out to work with me on a few cars. The day before he was scheduled to leave I got the call to restore the appearance on this 2008 Murcielago LP 640 Roadster.

So I changed Bob's ticket and extended his stay.

Bob was very instrumental in getting this car done as it was going to be shipped out of state and the deadline was tight.

Total time spent 60+ hours collectively.

Upon initial inspection it was easy to see how severely this car had been savaged.

Front end and rockers were wrapped as well.

As it was delivered.

All plastic grilles were dried out.

Engine compartment needed some attention.

Paint readings were healthy.

Top was installed prior to the wash and decon stage.

Wheel cleaner attacking the grime.

The paint was loaded up with LSP and needed to be stripped away.

Stripped.

Grilles being removed to be restored to a new state.

Inside after the wash.

More defects.

50/50 after compounding.

Taillights needed some work as well.

DA sand scratches.

Washing after the compounding stage.

Bob cleaning the honeycomb grilles. This took some time as they were splattered with old compound from the previous detailer.

Carbon fiber rockers were a little rough.

Corrected.

Before.

After.

More DA sand scratches.

Corrected.

Before.

After.

Normally I'm impressed. This time I am speechless.

The results had me laughing in disbelief.
