2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Restorative Correction
This was completed today(10-14-2010) and this car was a handfull, initially I thought the car would not too bad but after the filling wax was stripped off.................
Initial sun pics of the finish(which does not look to bad but wait until the pics from after the wash/De-con step).
This is a pic of the sawdust stuck to the finish(which the customer said "It comes off with your fingernail".............uhmm NO).
After the wash...............this is what the finish really looked like.
More pics of the "Sawdust".
Slowly shearing off the overspray with clay/solvent.
Wing/spoiler done(overspray removal that is).
Mirror looked like it hit the siding from a garage.
Carefully handled that.
After wool pad correction.
Rear decklid with "Sawdust" and marring as bad as you want........
After "Sawdust" removal and sanding/wool pad compounding.
Deep marring/RIDS.
First 50/50's .

Tailights were hammered as well.
Sand scratches on lower rear bumper.
That issue cleaned up.
Passenger door 50/50's.
Front bumper was bad as well.
Severe marring & holograms.
After.
Other side of the front bumper.
Drivers door looked like someone used a bristle broom on it.......(beyond jacked imho).
Heavy wool compounding for this door.
Rocker looked like it had been sanded.....no but the "coin wash" will do almost that.
Remember I do only "
EASY" cars.
Making progress.

Door handle not looking it's best......
After first hits with wool pad.
Engine bay had a little "Water spotting problem".
After mucho rubbing.
Same issues in the trunk area.
Engine looking good(Yes that's a 3.8 litre airbox from a 09 model in a 05 with a 3.6 litre lol).
On the home stretch......had a visitor(ITO....... for those who know who this is lol, one of my martial art instuctors and in his day a bad A** dude which I cannot state how much I respect this guy as his first Black belt students he brought up are Navy Seals one still active and one retired). Tony is a accomplished detailer himself and worked as my detail manager @ Performance Art.
