Noooo! A bird crapped on the Turbo
Took the Turbo out for a drive the other day and didn't notice there was some bird droppings on the front bumper and fender.
Parked it a day or two then noticed it. I hosed the car down and got the droppings off, but I fear it has done it's damage. The paint underneath is not glossy.
What is the best/easiest way to fix this?
Car is red for what it's worth.

Most of the time bird poop will just cut the clear coat. If you are confident then wet sand with 2000 or 2500.Wheel it with a wool pad and some fine compound, then a foam pad with scratch remover, then foam pad with glaze , and then wax.Rarely have I had to repaint and area from poop!!!If you are not comfortable doing it yourself then let a professional detailer do it for you . Good luck.

Wouldn't using a machine to try buff it out work?
Damn birds! I'm going to cut down that tree in my driveway
I'll leave it to Carn to fix then. Not going to guinea pig the car, especially not the Turbo!
Thanks for the responses anyways guys.

Carn will try machine polishing first, hopefully that will do it, but if the clear coat has been damaged he will need to sand a little. Hopefully its not so serious. Any anyways he needs to reapply LSP to that panel too.

Always try the least agressive method first, as most detailers will tell you. I'd be tempted to try some Meguiars #205 by hand on a foam pad first; just to see how it does. Step it up to a random orbital polisher if that fails. Good luck.
