08 Porsche Cayenne GTS

A customer just picked up this vehicle from a dealer pre-owned, and there were some issues.......... although the car was in pretty good shape over all the wheels had been repaired by a mobile wheel repair guy who was NOT up to snuff.

During the wash process I had over four hours just to wash/clean the wheels/clay/dry the car. There was over-spray all over the car with the concentration of it on the wheel arches.

In this pic it looks like just a dirty wheel, well the repair was sprayed OVER the brake dust

Dried out trim

Cleaning the wheels forever.....................................

Evidence of over spray mixed with dirt and fallout, I would later switch to an aggressive clay bar as this one loaded uo quickly

Here is overspray residue on the tire

50/50 pic of the overspray removed from the tire

Hard water spots on the glass

Corrected

The vehicle had some deep rids in some places, but as the SUV is Crystal Silver it hides this pretty good however the customer did notice this on the rear tailgate where there is a strip of black paint

50/50 pic

Finished out

Marring on the front lower bumper

Had to go easy on the compounding here as the bumper is plastic and could not measure the depth of the finish(phil how about a deal on a positech 6000, never hurts to ask.....)

Hood looking smooth and clear

There was a purplelish greasy film on the metal rear tray that was no fun to correct

50/50 pic

Corrected, even though I did not do the interior I removed the "prison stripes" from the carpet

Applying the LSP(menzerna power lock/Collinite 915)

Cayenne GTS cont....

The nav screen also had the "mystery purple grease" on it

Forty five minutes later by hand......

The next five pics are with the Menzerna Power Lock as the LSP

The rest of the pics are with the Menz and Collonite

Tips are now "supercleaness" (TM)
