996 GT2 (Rear) Window Tint Removal?

996 GT2. What is the absolute best method or service to remove window tint from the rear window? Preventing damage to the window defroster heat filaments is a concern.

Carefully with a razor blade, it takes forever. Then you have to go over it with something to remove the goo (supersol). Obviously, don't take the razor across any of the elements, work between the elements and try to peel from the film as much as possible.

I use steam gun (not heat gun) . It really makes it super easy and safe to remove. Just direct to the the part you are peeling and the tint will simple let go of the window.

Just say "no" to razor blades... Spray the inside of the window with a water/soap solution then tape a black, plastic bag to the entire inside of the window, letting it sag a bit. Leave it in the sun to evaporate and then gently remove the glue residue. with some microfibers and if necessary some glue remover.

I have as well used my steamer in this manner, once you get a corner to lift it will come off.
