This car had the usual problems ie:water spots,fallout, and some pretty good scuffs in the film on a couple of places. In addition to the film being in bad shape(daily driver) the full polish HRE's were in need of serious correction with one wheel etched by a strong chemical.

First step was get the car on the lift and dismount the wheels

Coming back to life....



removed the center cap and re-indexed it to line up with the five lug configuration





The little things that add up in a correction



While the wheels were off I dialed in the wheel wells and suspension assembly





Remounted the wheels and torqued them to spec



A slight improvement



The film had lot's dirt and road tar deposits, so I used Premier's new film cleaner and corrected this problem









This was one of the places that the film was pretty scuffed



All better......

Now here is the reason I loved working on this car, loads o carbon fiber!!!







Now on the second day of this job I finished right at 7:00pm so no sun shots

 

Good looking car now that your done with it. If you don't mind saying how long would you say this took you start to finish...
