Single step in two pictures

This is what someone got for a $150 "top of the line buff" from Cactus Carwash here in Atlanta. The WHOLE car looked like this when I got started.
(the right side already got treated my mehself in case you think they did pretty good on the right side)

Folks, please use an experienced detailer when you need something done. These are the type of results you get from "detail-mills".

The right side after a proper single step, no wax or sealant yet.

My client was a "little" happy with the results.

nice job... is there any truth to an "urban legend", that polish fills the fine scratches on a black car, then in the heat it "sucks back" after an hour or so? or does the detailer just suc? My guess would be the latter. Right tools for the job then?

Some polishes do have fillers. I can't speak as to if they will draw back or not. But fillers are not the best option. Fillers will quickly wear off and you're stuck with the scratch you started with.

Proper polishing will be done without fillers. It's actual clear coat correction that will last until someone creates new scratches or new holograms. The draw back to polishing as should be done is that it is more time consuming and the polishes aren't cheap. Time = $$$ and some people aren't willing to pay for time and quality.

Nice work Jean Claude. Black Porsches are a lot of fun.
