It certainly has grown on me because I thought chopping the top would seriously hurt the hardcore status of the scud.

I am skeptical about using a Makita Rotary and Swissvax paint repair compound on a brand new car. Seems like overkill. Moe?? What's your opinion?

It's not uncommon for some of the higher-end special edition cars to come out like this. I know Aston Martin simply compounds most of their cars and leaves the final polishing to the dealer.
