Premier Signature Full Vehicle Wrap

Our team of Master Installers have been performing full vehicle wraps with our Clear Guard system for the past six years and have been in the paint protection industry since 1997. What are some of the benefits of "wrapping" an entire car?

1. protects from road debris
2. maintain aesthetics (if installed properly - the film will not show even on black)
3. protects from vandalism - our Clear Guard system has been proven to many of our customers that it provides a certain level of protection from key scratches, bumps, scrapes, etc. For those in the Bay Area, feel free to drop in and we can show you how strong our Clear Guard system is on a demo hood

"this reminds me of my grandmother keeping the thick and loose plastics on the furniture"
1. quite the contrary, if the product is installed properly, you would be hard pressed to locate the film - even if you are an installer

"I can repaint my car every 2 yrs for the amount of money I would spend on this"
1. Cost of repaint goes up significantly based on the following factors:
a) quality of the paintwork
b) airbrush or complete respray (airbrush naturally would not last as long as a complete panel respray)
c) for vehicles with ceramiclear, the cost of repainting goes up dramatically

2. There is also the factor of downtime. Typically respraying one panel may require a respray of another panel to "blend." Repainting one panel alone typically takes 2 days. There is also a 30 day cure period before the film can be applied. Reapplying the film on one panel typically takes 1-3 hrs.

For those in Southern California, our services would be available 6 days a week as our company will be expanding to the Orange County area in early 2009.

No, this is not part of what we do. One note with applying colored vinyl:

1. After the Gumball3000 rally, we have already received 4 vehicles with vinyl wrap and all four had primer deep razor cuts on the paint. Be very careful here, because these vinyl guys do need to trim the wrap off and when they do they are hitting the paint in most instances.

2. Vinyl will begin fading shortly. We have already seen one vehicle applied with a chrome reflective vinyl that became a matt silver after seeing about 8 months under the sun.

3. Vinyl gives very little protection to the paint as they are usually about 2-4 mils thick. Paint protection film is 8.5 mils and have generally undergone gravel testing to ensure it is up to specs to protect the vehicle from minor road debris

Awesome.

Please post any pics or videos of how your film stands up to rock chips.

I have the 3M stuff on ALL my cars, but only at the front. Really really helps against stone chips and it is totally reversible. As stated above if installed correctly you can not even notice it!
