Quote: the 57sc is the sexiest car ever made. and will forever be my favorite bugatti
Interesting I've always thought they look like a hound dog with big floppy ears.

one of the handful I think are ok to look at would be a 275 Nart spider

This thread is weirder than a pair of poodles playing air hockey in front of retarded pet racoons.

This thread is just great! I laughed hard during first two pages. When it comes to classics, my favourite are 250 GTO, 250 Lusso, Miura and 300 SL.

I think all these cars are awesome! How about the Auburns, Duesenburgs, Cords, Bugatti's? Those cars were pure art on wheels.

P.S. Love the Anchorman quotes! "I'm kind of a big deal."

Quote: Yep and it was the fastest car at its time, i guess speed its something that Bugatti its good at
There are only 3 in the world right now i think, one its owned by Ralph Lauren the second by Jay Leno and the last one by the Mullin Auto museum (Who bought the last example on an auction for more than 30 million $).
The Mullin (ex-Peter Williamson) and RL cars are real. Jay's is a very high quality replica built on an original 1937 Bugatti chassis (not a 57SC chassis though).

There were only 4 ever built. The two mentioned above, a prototype which was destroyed and a 4th car that was bought by Bugatti collector Rene Chatard for his mistress. That particular car was totalled at a railroad crossing, which resulted in the death of Chatard and some other lady. The car was subsequently caught up in an investigation, then a legal battle between the mistress and the wife.

Here's a great article on the car:

Older cars are the business. I want to be badass enough to drive a 280sl every day... My dad is a Dodge guy so I tend to like old Mopars the most; AMC made some badass cars too though!

Here is one of Ralph Lauren's Bugatti's. He had his collection on display in Boston several years ago.
