My son has decided to put his 1LE Prototype up for sale. This weekend at the RM Auctions in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Auction is to be held in the Convention center in Port Everglades.

It was one of 5 1LE Prototypes made by Bill Mitchell of Special Vehicles for Chevrolet. Sister car, one of the 5 is owned by Sam Posey's brother.

This car was featured by GM at Amelia Island for the 50th anniversary of the GM small block display inside the ballroom and later on the lawn.

Tons of paperwork from Bill Mitchell. Car was raced in the Firehawk series of IMSA in the late 80's.
