Larry Ellison's aluminum Kirkham Cobra

This is awesome. Larry Ellison (CEO of Oracle) commissioned Kirkham to build him an all-aluminum Shelby Cobra. Not aluminum body, all-aluminum chassis, body, and everything else practically.

Oh yeah, you can buy the Billet aluminum bound book dedicated to this car for $4500.00. Or, just check it out online, here:

Kirkham Motorsports - Leading manufacturer of aluminum bodied 427 and 289 replicas

Fawk. That's just gorgeous! Is it safe to assume the engine is all aluminum as well?

So glad you asked Alex. According to chapter 14, it has an aluminum block Ford-Edsel "FE" 427 bored and stroked to 482 cubic inches with Edelbrock aluminum heads

What a great build. The chassis is a modern CNC machinists dream with real engineering fundamentals and efficiency, combined with a body that exemplifies amazing old world hand craftsmanship that can best be described as artistic.

I'd like to p/u a regular Kirkham. They seem to do the best cobra, bar none.
