Old Pics. 67 GT500, 67 Corvette
My dad has a 67 GT500 when I was younger. He sold it probably 15 years ago to a customer of his. The original set up was a 428/C6 which blew up. Ford replaced it with a not so standard (apparently) Shelby prepped 427 and a 4 speed. I called the new owner a couple years ago to ask about the car. He has restored it, lowered the compression (10:1 from 12.5:1 I am told) and lowered it as well. I don't know where the documentation or anything is on the car, my dad bought it from a friend and then sold it, been doing ever since.
The 67 Vette was originally a big block car. Not sure if it was a 427/390 or 427/435 car. When we had it it had a 65 327 in it, bored, stroked, 850 Holley, domed pistons (old skewl!), M21 Muncie (I think) and some crazy suspension on it. Flares, long tube Hookers, 4" side pipes. The factory hard top was original, which was rare. I actually mistakenly told a guy my dad would probably get rid of it and so he bought it. Restoring it to original spec, silver, 427 and so on. When he bought it I tried to tell him it was originally a big block car (I decoded the tag) and he insisted it wasn't, then got around to restoring it and realized it was a big block numbers matching rear end. I really liked the hideous paintjob - made it unique
I can't find pics of his 65 which was all original never restored 327ci car, 4 speed M21 Muncie. Sorry the pics suck it was before we had a nice digital and I never thought to take pictures anyway. Sorry if they suck!

My dad originally wanted his friend's GT350 but he refused to sell it! So he bought the 500 for next to nothing... Sold it for nothing too!
Thanks again for the kind words. I wish we still had them! Haha the 67 vette really was a hacked POS (JKM could tell you) but boy was it fun!
I repped myself out, damnit, +1 when I can!
