SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
I think my favorite pants would be J.Crew Stanton khakis, and my favorite jeans are either J.Crew straight leg Levis or a pair of worn out Volcoms.

Express sells some really nice, modern fit pants. If your build is athletic or skinny, I highly recommend looking there.

As for Jeans, my favorite brand is Monarchy, but I also like the other more expensive brands - they just fit better - Rock & Republic, 7 for all Mankind, True Religion, etc. If you want to save some coin, but still want premium jeans, Luck Brand Jeans are OK but never fit me just right. And don't forget Levi's. Their jeans are a lot more expensive than the $20 ones I had as a kid, but they are also so much nicer now.

ripped my 514's pretty badly once and was outside a winner's when it happened. Went inside and picked up a pair of CK jeans for $19. two days later went back and bought 4 more pairs and have been loving them ever since.

Just checked out Monarchy. Everything is on sale for $20. I find this intriguing.

So much and no mention of this? That is Strebo, wearing his 'nuthugging' jeans.
