What's on your... well anyway Jeans
#2
My favourite 7's recently got the crotch wear hole, and they were my only pair with a dark wash, so I ran out yesterday to buy an emergency pair for this weekend.
The local stores are dire, but one has a big Diesel concession. Normally, i hate diesel, I think they only make jeans for rednecks.
However, I got a couple nice pairs yesterday! (Never thought I'd ever say that about diesel jeans!)
These are for a night time wedding event, to go with cowboy boots, a white cotton shirt and a swarovski diamante tie.

I also bought these, quite lightweight demin, much more casual, primarily because they are light, and I'm going to be spending time in Texas next month, and I wanted a casual jean that wasn't too heavy

Both are regular, straight leg jeans, I dont much like bootcuts, despite constantly wearing boots.
My 'go to' 7's are these:

They are bootcut but only very slight. They are also a classic A pocket, they've been part of the 7 line for at least 3 years that I know of.
And whilst looking, I found these
They are cheap ($200 range) so cheaper than 7's for sure, more like Diesel pricing.
EDIT-Just found them for $99!

I like the story of how they are made, hand finished etc.
The story of the guy who makes the jeans reminds me of 'How to make it in America'

I would argue that some raw, unwashed Levi 501s still look a million times better than all pre-washed/faded/holey/overly branded/overly priced crap that everybody wears.
