My local store where I get all my cool True's from, R&R, Antik and so on has PRPS.. BUT they don't have any of the cool styles you have posted up, I looked on ebay and found a few with rips, patches and so on BUT they are probably fakes at the price..

I know I'm getting old, but to me, those jeans look like they were cut off of a homeless guy at the morgue. I'm not trying to be a dick. Someone take a minute to explain to me why I want to spend $200 on jeans that look like they went through a chipper...with a man in them.

Then, tell me something else. Does a 40-something look friggin' ridiculous trying to rock a pair of these?

Oh, one more thing. Do I have to pay big bucks to have a designer ruin my jeans, or can I just wear the ones I've destroyed all by myself?

Yes...these are real questions from a guy who doesn't know any better.

You're not getting old. A youngin' here agrees with you. I really don't understand this style at all. Perhaps it's because I'm so used to making sure that all my clothes are meticulously kept, along with the fact that I try to avoid wearing jeans as much as I possibly can.

Petko and Fastback, you guy's aren't wrong one bit and are entitled to your own opinions obviously. I will point out thought that these jeans for most of us are for casual wear, I have 2-3 pair of patch/rip jeans and I don't wear them a lot one bit, but like anything its a cool/unique style or was LOL !

I do prefer straightlet semi wash jeans when I wear them not these, and most of the time are slacks...

Used to be a Diesel guy but have gotten into the dry Japanese denim thing. Couple of pictures of my Samurai's that are too new to have any fading yet:

I agree with you... I like nice high quality jeans. Stuck on Diesels for now. There are some jeans that a simple/classy yet still very stylish. Btw, I'm 23.

My favorite jeans happen to be that of Earnest Sewn. In most situations, I like to wear next to no logos. Just a personal thing. I find that Earnest Sewn's are as comfortable as about anything.

In a list:

1. Earnest Sewn
2. Energie
3. Sugar Cane
4. PRPS
5. Nudie
