Driving Loafers: Suggestions??

First things first, with all the smart asses on this forum (myself very much included) I know I'm going to get some interesting responses. This may backfire, but here goes...

My Cole Haan and Ralph Lauren suede driving loafers have both given out and neither company still produces that style of shoe. I'm having a hard time finding an adequate replacement so I'm turning to you guys.

I'm looking for something to wear with jeans and for general 'every day casual' use. Also prefer something that I could wear to with a sport coat if needed. Any suggestions?

Example of what I'm not looking for:

Why loafers? Why not get a set of proper driving shoes? Edit: Well, you sort of answered that in your post, but I don't care! You can be casual with these, too!

Love my Sparcos

You could wear the Sparco / Simpson booties like has been posted, but if you want something that works great in a car but doesn't make you look like a schmuck when you walk into Chipotle for a burrito, Kenneth Cole makes some "driving shoes" which look nice. I'm wearing a Sketchers driving sneaker similar to this right now:

Most comfortable shoes I've owned. The soles are about 1 micrometer thick so they're great for heel-toeing, but make you look short.

I like my HS Trask loafers but Tods are nice too.

I've got these:

They're pretty cheap too.

My other suggestion would be a pair of all black Pumas. I've found that my black Kart Cats dress up rather nicely.

Gola made some of my favorite suede loafers, with a rounded heel which was perfect for driving.

Keep an eye on their site, hopefully they'll bring them back. Mine are at least 6 years old and still holding together.

Jox, where did you get your Sparcos? I think I need those in my life.
