And what makes Spectra PhotoSync stand out compared to other tint?

1. High Total Solar Energy Rejection - up to 78%
2. High Infrared Rejection in both lower and upper nanometers range
3. Reduced Glare
4. Does not utilize ceramic or metallics to enhance heat rejection, which in some cases affect wireless signals
5. Product performs better when hot or cold - this tint actually mimics heat or cold.
a. when hot, the product's heat rejection capabilities change so that heat rejection performance is enhanced by up to 10%
b. when cold, the product would retain in-cabin heat better (works extremely well for electric vehicles like Teslas since using the heater system depletes range)

Now onto our Beltronics + Laser Interceptor installation. For the Beltronics unit, we placed it in the ash tray behind the cover. We also placed the Laser Interceptor Power Toggle Switch right next to the Beltronics control for easy on / off.

For the LED warning light, we placed it inside the air vent in a position and angle that is only visible to the driver

And this is what Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint 45 looks like indoor. If you are seeking for PhotoSync and not located near us, give Prestige Film Technologies a call to see if there is an authorized dealer in your area.

408-657-3880 or vtran@prestige-films.com

This is a premium tint and the manufacturer is quite particular about the companies carrying this product, so there's typically only 3-4 dealers per state.

A photo of sunroof installed with Spectra PhotoSync 65. Note the roof is already pre-tinted from the factory, so they automatically will seem darker than the other windows.

Spectra PhotoSync's high heat rejection properties along with its superb clarity makes it the leading nano tint in the world - of course this is our opinion, but we have been in the industry since 1997.

As we know, UV only accounts for a small percentage of the solar spectrum entering the Earth's atmosphere; however, it is a great contributor to aging and skin cancer. UV also degrades interior components and create premature fading in parts. The demo below shows how much UV is blocked

Today we took a quick surface temperature reading on a 2014 VW Touareg we just received. The car was sitting outside for 15 minutes before we brought the vehicle inside to our facility. But before we did, we found these astounding numbers:

Front driver seat - 156 degrees F
Front driver side dash - 163 degrees F

This is the reason dashboards and leather seats tend to crack over time. Daily exposure to the sun's UV and infrared rays can wear down the interior significantly in a short amount of time. Product quality and performance is why we choose to use Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint by Prestige Film Technologies.

Spectra PhotoSync reduces total solar energy by up to 79% and block out up to 98.5% of IR and 99.5% of UV. We have used most of the high-end tint out there and there's nothing on the market, in our opinion, that can stack against this product

When it comes to paint protection, there are varying factors that determine how visible it is on the car:

1. The film - some films exhibit more orange peel texture than others, which is most noticeable on dark colored vehicles.
2. Custom or precut templates - the precut templates will have more seams than custom. However, when it comes to custom applications, it takes a tremendous amount of experience and skill to be able to execute so the film is not visible to most.
3. Regardless of custom or precut, the most important of all would be the installer. Installers come and go in this industry and many companies do not actually perform the installations themselves. Due to the amount of time it takes to hone in the skills of paint protection film, many companies do not have the luxury of learning a new trade. In this aspect, they would rather hire out someone to do the work for them. This would mean that you are paying a higher premium as the contracting company would need to mark up the services to make margin. In addition, the natural issue with this is that many companies use a bidding process to find the cheapest company to act as their in-house vendor, which also means there is potentially the issue of using a less experienced company for the work

Overall, keep your eyes out for the top 3 points, and this would give you an added edge when it comes to finding a quality company to perform the work and make it look very good. We have been doing this since 1997, so this is our opinion based on the 17 years of experience we have accumulated in this industry.
