It looks like they installed Aston Martin Rapide wheels and Boxster tail lights. Still a massive rump.

Exactly. I think the Panamera needs quite a bit of design changes, but all would be too extreme for a mid cycle refresh. As it sits, like you said, all they need are different tail lights, I'd specifically omit that ugly diamond pattern clear section, as well as the dated curve at the boot lid. Also, tuck in the rear bumper a bit, and get rid of one of the creases.

The idea of a Porsche station wagon makes me so excited, but the Panamera just fails to deliver, in terms of design at least.

Seriously, WTF... drop the line entirely and let the other manufacturers fight out the stupid 4 door 'sports car' saloon, call it what you want segment.

Porsche has the beautiful 991 and revised Boxster, that both look simply stunning. Even the Cayenne is now starting to look good. This Panamera thing is just plain ugly. I'm enjoying how everyone tries to justify it somehow... The design just looks stupid.

if you dont understand the panamera, its prob bc you dont have any experience with it. its exactly what i was looking for. didnt want a cayenne, nor a tahoe or a rr.... tired of having something that would tempt me to run 170+ too. although, this v6 will hit 150 fairly easily.

i welcome the new leds and a redesign!

Rumors are it's a Bi-Turbo.

It's here to stay. They produced 25,000 copies in it's first 10 months.

Enjoy the torture.

Ha ha ha. Torture on the eyes for sure!

At least there is some good to come out of the 25,000 units sold - it's all funding the GT3, GT2 and 911 Turbo R&D programs :-) Yeeeooooow

I certainly hope they do a lot more than this. I can hardly see any differences. It will be hard to keep me from an S8 instead. Even though I love my panamera I dont want to keep it forever and I am on my fourth year now.
