You need to ask Porsche that one. It was their launch car. And you can't have it. From what info I see, there are 3 ordered by dealers for showrooms, and only a few more ordered by customers. 20 of em in the US might be a high number. Porsche is claiming it's a paint quality issue.

Who knows. I call BS on paint issues. They are painting Cayman R's in that color. You would think they could decide that stuff before putting the color on posters and all over the internet. It's on Build your Own right now but you can't have it. On that note, you can get a Paint to Sample Panamera that is built on the same production line, but you can't get one in a Cayenne. Weird rules.

Usually the issues with the paint troubles are based on the different materials on different cars and making sure the paint looks good enough on say aluminum as it does on carbon or plastic. A lot of colors on the PTS approved list have already been tested and proven out, but on some colors this testing may be in process or not complete.
The reason you can get a PTS panamera and not a Cayenne is because the Panamera is built in Leipzig, and the Cayenne bodies are still being painted at the Hamburg (I believe) VW plant where they cannot do PTS orders. I have inquired and asked about this many times with Porsche Exclusive. I would love a Mexico Blue Cayenne. They said they are hopeful to someday have the PTS available on the Cayenne but they don't know when.
