I love this new design theme of "Bi-Color" rims.



At first I was wondering why they didn't just go with an all-black rim, like the 918 RSR. But then again, the RSR does have a chrome/aluminum lip around the edge. And that small amount of "bling" just makes that light colored paint pop. Like jewelry. Or does it?

All black rims on a dark colored car look better?

All light metallic rims look better on a light car?

Then I realized that an all black rim with a black tire might optically make the rims and tires look smaller on a light-colored car.

I kind of like my wheels & tires to look like they're filling the wheel wells.

Anyone else agree?
