Just got my Panamera GTS last week Just got it last week. Ordered it a few months ago.

So far, i love it.
The sport exhaust sounds great without being intrusive at all.
The Sound Symposium (channels air intake noise into the A-pillar) is also fantastic.
The transmission is very unique in that it downshifts on every deceleration and blips the throttle but without any jerkiness at all. That is unique because every other car that I have had or still have (including 997 PDK, Ferrari 458, C63 Black Series) all can do that but you will feel the slight jerk from the engine braking. This one feels just like braking while driving an automatic, except that you hear the blip and you are in fact in a lower gear very quickly. Also, the manual shifts are very quick, on par with my 458 and quicker than the Pan turbo's that I have driven.
The engine feels very responsive, especially in sport setting, without any jerkiness around town. It revs very freely and you can feel the extra 30 hp at work at every throttle input. The Pan TT has more thrust, but there is always a disconnect feeling between your right foot and the forward momentum. This one is linear and direct as only a naturally-aspirated engine can do.
The PDCC works great and makes my daily canyon drives a joy while still providing as much ride comfort as my 750Li sport.
I did not order the optional Power Steering Plus, and it feels appropriately direct and perfectly fine for me and my wife in low speed maneuvers.
Regarding the interior, the alcantara interior is wonderful-looking and has a luxurious tactility. The rest of the leather interior is also top notch. The piano black trim has a great sheen to it and complements the interior superbly.
In summary, I am very happy with my purchase. I was considering ordering a turbo instead, but ultimately decided to order the GTS based on it having the newest technology in the Panamera line and also universally preferred over a turbo by every magazine that I have read. While it may not have the thrust of a Panamera Turbo, I believe it is superior in every other way, whether mechanically, viscerally or aesthetically. I would love to have the turbo thrust too, but to me, I am not willing to sacrifice all the other attributes for that privilege. I guess that is why I preferred my 4.0 over a turbo.
