I've been looking forward to seeing these and I like it - however I from these shots I think it's a bit too similar to the Cayenne. The initial sketches from Porsche made this thing look amazing. Like DJ said, a few tweaks with the right wheels and it will be a great looking vehicle. I can see non-enthusiasts mistaking a stock one for a Cayenne all the time once it comes out.

Reminds me of when the Infiniti EX came out. The first few I saw made me do a double take thinking it was a new FX or something. I still think the FX looks good but the EX is disproportionate imo.

I'm looking forward to seeing the production version of this and hopefully a GTS version down the road. Would be a pretty sweet grocery getter for the city.

That initial sketch was the same exact one released with the Cayenne, just with different wheels and tail lights.

My opinion on the Macan, surely it will be the best in its class, but is it necessary? No. But IMHO neither is the Cayenne or Panamera, but that is what Porsche unfortunately is today.

This is going to sell like mad.. OMG. If the Cayenne is back ordered can you imagine this! They just need to make sure its a win design wise and different from the Cayenne.

it's the boxster version of the cayenne. cheaper and stubbier.

no likes from me.

I hope Porsche didn't go cheap with the single/twin pistons calibers in the rear. I am certain that isn't 4 pistons and it is very untraditional from Porsche.

it's like the designer said "let's make a mini cayenne" but, working late one night, forgot and ended with a panamera.

I love it!!

I just find the cayenne too big for everyday driving, but I'd gladly take this!

IDK. I hope it looks better than this. Don't understand building an 80% Cayenne

some people also don`tn like the appearance of a big SUV and don`t want to come across flashy and serve the odd sterotype of "rich" guys in big SUVs
