Cayenne speaker wiring help

Need your help guys!
I have a 2006 Porsche Cayenne non-Bose w/ nav. Left rear door mid-range speaker has issues so I'm trying to upgrade all doors to Boston Acoustic componet speakers.

Each door currently has 3 speakers, a woofer that has a pair of wires to it and the mid-high speakers have a pair going to them. The mid-high have a resistor between them. I guess for crossover.

I have searched but can't find a clear answer or the diagram for the non-Bose system.

Here's my question(s),
Are there crossovers hidden somewhere for each door, crossovers built into the amp or are the 2 sets of wires at each door just spliced off of each other like the Bose wiring diagram shows?

Can/should I tie the 2 positives together and same with the negatives and wire them into my new BA crossovers?
--OR--
Not use the new BA crossovers and wire the mid-high wires directly to the tweeter and the woofer wires to the new woofer?
--OR--
Do I need a whole new approach?

I do not want to upgrade anything other than the speakers right now.

THANKS!

You're on the wrong forum for this. Good luck.
