Porsche Panamera latest spy photos
From CarOnline
The latest round of Porsche Panamera spy photos have arrived at CAR, and we continue to see more detail of Zuffenhausen’s super saloon. Our latest scoop pictures of the Panamera reveal a quick glimpse inside the fast four-door, too. Porsche engineers are using distracting black-and-white chequerboard disguise around the window line to mask the true shape of the glasshouse, but we’re now slowly beginning to see the true shape of the Panamera.
Inside the Porsche Panamera
No, we haven’t been inside Porsche’s new saloon but one of our spy photos affords a quick glimpse inside. Is that a column-mounted gearshift we can see to the left of the steering wheel? Other spy photos have pointed to a derivative Porsche cabin – with the usual cowled dials and group-derived switchgear, no doubt polished up with the help of numerous cow hides on the real thing.
Panamera at a glance
• Launch late 2009
• Hatchback rear, five doors
• Merc S-class size, 475-litre boot
• Seven-speed PDK twin-clutch box
• 3.6 V6 coming in 2010 (£55,000)
• 4.8 V8 with and without turbos
• Hybrid coming in 2011, 30mpg+
