Fuel Pump Recall?

My dealer just informed me that a new fuel pump design was ordered for my car. I haven't heard anyone mention anything on this site, so I was wondering if anyone else has any similar experiences regarding this recall??

wonder if this has something to do with my check engine light that goes off and on. the code has something to do with evap pressure

I didn't know I had any symptoms but the service manager claimed that this is an upgraded design fuel pump that works better with low grade fuel, which is what we have here.

So apparently I'm the only one who's received this 'new fuel pump'
