Porsche triples profits on strong Cayenne, Panamera Sales
#31
This was a Profit thread Mr Mod. Me thinks there is less profit in me's Audi than Stoppies Panameras. My guess Porsche makes 30k a car CASH. 110k MSRP on the Pam S I saw. Cost to dealer 80k. Pay sales guy 5k and Stoppie gets 1k cuz he's da boss. Owner reaps the other 22k for his time most likely 10k of that a kick back even da boss Stoppie doesn't see and Porsche pockets the 30k profit over the 50k it cost them to make the car and ship it stateside.
Me little S4 only cost me 53k
I hope their isn't 30k profit in it.

lol I responded back at ya PM goof ball
I'm with Wyatt. I think the Pan by Porsche is over priced. In no way is it worth twice as much as my little fluffy car.
I'm actually shocked Stoppie you don't like Audi's. I'm also shocked your owner doesn't own an Audi Dealership and I'm shocked you don't sell them. You'd be busier. I'm a Porsche guy. I like em and have had a couple. I've not enjoyed driving a 4 door sedan more than my fluff mobile in 10 years.
Wyatt hasn't driven a Panamera I'd say. He can still comment on cost and looks. I've not driven a Reventon but I can comment on how it's an overpriced vehicle that looks like a bunch of triangles put together wrong. Can't I?
I also think that all cars are overpriced

I ACTUALLY realllllllllllllllllly like Audi's!! Not once, no where did I say I didnt like Audi. I have said I don't like 'specific cars' which, I guess, might have been interprited as 'Chris doesnt like Audi's' But that is soooooooo not the case.
But to your points: Yes, my Boss has attempted to aquire an Audi Franchise, but at the moment, we've got our hands full with the LARGEST Mercedes Dealer (your personal fav Mark, I know!
) from Ohio to Texas. I think if you ever came out this way you'd be shocked at the facility here. Heck, I LIVE here and I'm shocked lol. But I digress. Audi would be a fantastic addition to our family. One of my all time favorite cars is the old 2002 Audi A8 short wheel base with the 4.2, the RS4 with manual, R8 (duhhh) and I've always LOVED the old RS6. Man I love the way the car looks. Gee Chris, why do you love the cars so much?
Aweosme of you to ask Mark!! I'm so happy you did!! (drum roll)
I love them because ....................wait for it................................................ wait for it..................
wait for it...........................
I HAVE ACTUALLY DRIVEN ALL OF THOSE CARS!! INCLUDING AUDI'S THAT I DON'T LIKE!!
*and the crowd GASPS in shock and dismay!!!*
Are there cars I've given my opinion on that I've not driven? absolutely. However I always point out- I'VE NOT ACTUALLY DRIVEN THE CAR, SO MY THEORY COULD BE WAY OFF BASE!!-
The 'bunch of triangles' (fvcking hilarious you said that btw lol) Reventon might seem like a piss poor value to you; but if you actually DROVE one, that would validate one of two things: 1) that it's not worth its weight in Tibetian sheep poo, or 2) you actually love it and now- damn it- you need to figure out how to justify owning one.....
The importance of a drive, or should I say, something longer then a 15 minute test drive, is sooooo under appreciated and over looked.
I used Mortons has widely known example;but yes, there is MUCH better out there. How do I know? Ive EATEN there. LOL
Forget the group KT, just you and I hug now.

I also want to go on the record for saying
1) I didn't mean to make it personal. Thought we were jabbing back. I also love to argue/logic for it's own sake. Sorry for crossing that line. We had an e-hug through PM.
2) I did not mention his profession as way to belittle. Quite the opposite, I was using it as a source of his credibility, and having driven many of these cars.
3) Shit will get personal if you try to take KT's hug away from me/us.

I will never drive a reventon but I guarantee that the new 700 is damn close. I figured I might be able to drive one of those one day but the two most outspoken Lambo guys in our area told me today that most likely won't be moving that direction out of their previous lambos. Not enough bang for the added bucks with a large part of disappointment that Lambo didn't change the cars more. Also unhappy dealers are acting as they are sold and forcing too many of them into the market here.
