Fabspeed cats

I recieved my exhaust from fabspeed on Monday and have been working on it every day for a few hours. The catalitic converters are a pain to get off but they are finally off and have one new one on. Should be able to finish tomorrow and if I could do it over I probably would have just had the dealer do it.

After finishing the exhaust and driving it for a few days I have to say I couldn't be happier. The turbos love the new cats and the sound is great. I can hear the turbos spool when I have the sport exhaust button switched off. The car drives way smoother and has alot more power. If your debating on getting fabspeed don't waste anymore time and get it.

Outstanding Tony! Those secondary set of cats are unnecessary and cause a major restriction in the exhaust flow. Did you also install the Maxflo mufflers?

I did not install the maxflo mufflers, I like being able to silence the exhaust with push of button, especially with the new baby.

Well understood We have designed a Valve Accuated muffler system on the 2009 Carrera which we will incorporate soon for the 987 and 957 applications. Here is a video installed on our '09 997.2 Carrera S.
