Thanks. When the first pictures of the Panamera showed up on the net, I was one of the guys who said/posted that I didn't like the design. The fugly wheels Porsche is putting on cars these days do not help people's first impressions of the car either. In fact, I think I went as far as to say I would never have one....... Then I saw it in person and drove one. Now that it's been in my garage for a couple months I like the looks even more than before. I love the lines and the curves of the rear end. It really works in my opinion of course. Personally, I like design better than the S class, 7 series, Audi S8 and Quattroporte all of which I've had. It really is a very stunning car.

As for the attention thing; none of the 60+ other cars we've had have ever gotten this kind of reaction from people and honestly I sometimes wish it was a little more invisible (color I'm sure has a lot to do with all the attention).....

 

^^^Wheels really do make this car. Aside from the Turbo split-spoke wheels, all the stock options make the car look too bulbous. Your HREs are just right though.

 

Saw a Panamera Turbo in Macadamia brown metallic with the turbo rims and PCCBs (yellow) 2 days ago in Stuttgart. Pretty hot!!! But I was too lazy to take a picture.

 

Funny I saw a panny turbo in the same color on rector's lot in burlingame over the weekend and the color is responsible for the detour in my run so I could check it out

 

Nice color but not feeling the wheels, will it be more nice to mount a ADV.1 Wheel ?

 

Thanks for your post and while the ADV.1 wheels are nice I don't know that they're "more nice" than HREs....

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions but this post sounds suspiciously like an ADV ad....

ADV.1 makes some great looking wheels I just couldn't get passed how they screwed all the folks they did and then open up under another name and carry on like nothing ever happened.....

 

I never have been a fan of this car for one reason; I still can't get over the rear of the car, to me it's ugly. However, your car looks amazing. I love the Color, I love the red accents, and I really think that those wheels truly transform the car. Only thing I would have done differently is CF interior.

Great looking car. I assume you have really been enjoying it.
