48hrs after delivery, intitial impressions
My new Panamera 4S (platinum Silver, Black interior with Aluminum trim) is fantastic. Some intitial thoughts and observations...
1. The Park Sensors work very well. I was a little worried about not getting the rear camera but don't think I will need it. Visibility is fine, the mirrors work well and its a step up from the Z4 M coupe I had before in that area.
2. It's complicated. Still need time to read the PCM manual and learn how to enter favorites for the radio and XM
3. Navigation works well and has terrific POI data. The real time traffic and road hazard info is very nifty too.
4 Sport exhaust rocks, very glad I got that
5. Everyone who has seen it thinks it is a very attractive, if not absolutely stunning, car. So do I. The Interior blows people away.
More to come as time goes on....

Thanks for the offer DJ, I could use a little coaching on pic uploading.
By the way, I bought the Ipod integration kit but at delivery, there was no cord. The salesman tried to tell me that there is no cord normally, that I have to supply it, I objected and found in the owner's manual several references to "the supplied cord". He has since ordered the part for me...
I have a very early IPOD model, I think I may have a problem....any thoughts?

The "new" answer to your question came out from PCNA this week. You are to use the cord that came with your Ipod and plug it into the USB port in the armrest. I do not know of the reason for the change, but that is the new way of integrating your IPod. Have fun, it's a great car!

Congratulations! The wait seems like forever but then it arrives and none of it mattered
Strange you didn't get an interface cord, mine came with one. Delivered last month.
The radio does take a bit of playing around with but once you program it in, using the multi-function buttons on the steering wheel are great. I use the touch screen only occasionally.
I agree, the NAV is helpful and specific although twice I've had incorrect info/destinations. Additionally, sometimes it will say which side of the road it's on, sometimes not. Not sure why.
This car does get a lot of attention. It has so much presence and most people have never seen them so they are curious.
Have fun!

FIne...
Just got two new Panameras in and they no longer have the iPod port in the Universal Audio Interface. Instead of three inputs, there are only two: USB and line-in. Also, no cable was provided. I'm assuming this a new change to the option? Does the customer have to supply their own cable or will future cars come with one? Please clarify. Thanks
I had two customer order Panamera Turbos show up and we had the same problem. Can someone from PCNA please clarify? Thank you.
Ipods come with a USB cable to connect to your PC, the customer should use that cable to connect to the USB port in the vehicle. The previous port is no longer required
