Dealer charging for things I thought were included in the CPO warranty

I have a Porsche extended warranty till oct 2010.

1. The dealer wants to charge $1411.50 to replace a side aribag module. They claim that the electronics for the airbag are covered under the warranty but the module isnt.

2. $863.30 to replace the stereo head unit. the unit has been replaced once before under the original warranty (this would make it the 3rd radio to go in)POS units!!!

Shouldn't all of this be covered under the extended warranty? is there anyplace I can find the list of things that are or arent covered? I was under the impression and I believe I read somewhere from Posche that "the extended warranty was as good as the original"

Help! thanks!

I would assume that all those items should be covered as well... Try another Dealer?

Okay, stupid question.

You have a Certified Pre Owned Porsche FROM an Authorized Porsche dealership, correct?

And you have in your possession the 'welcome to Porsche's CPO program' package from Porsche?

PM the VIN and I'll do a little research.

If the airbag control module doesn't fall under the "electronics" category, then I don't know what does. Sounds like the dealer is trying to stick it to you.

OK, first, thanks for all your quick replies.

1. I bought a CPO warranty from my dealer (not a third party or third party warranty) and no, I didn't receive any welcome package......

2. I can't go to another dealer as this is the only dealer on the island.

Bought the warranty october 08, I believe the CPO warranty that was better than before started in August 2008. Stoppie ill look for the VIN and PM you, thanks!

Stoppie PM sent, thanks!

This leaves a sour taste as I was pumped to get my car back with things covered under warranty and install the roof rails and tailpipes I purchased which are sitting in my garage

So I can clarify for the gang- I hate vagueness-

Cayenned's 'Cayenne' was sold in Puerto Rico, as well as resides there. Since this car wasn't sold under the United States, I can't see any reference number. No reference number- no luck.

The car is NOT showing it's Certified.

Pedro, you're going to have to look through all your paperwork that you signed.

Sorry bud.

Chris: thanks again for all your help. I have since contacted PLA (porsche latin america) and they told me over the phone it is covered. I emailed them my service quote from the dealer and they will get in contact with them. I will keep everyone posted on how this turns out.

Funny thing is PR used to be part of PCNA, then turned over to PLA. well see..
