Ordered loaded 4S
Placed an order for a Panamera 4s. March production and heres fingers crossed for a June delivery. Why you ask? So I can enjoy my 911 TT for as long as possible before I have to get rid of it as the Panamera comes in.
Wifey and I are pregnant and found out recently that we're going to have non-identical twins. That completely changed everything. I was hoping to keep the 911 TT as a daily car and just manage with 1 kid (and perhaps a maid lol) but thats completely out of the question.
This is what is standard:
Standard Specification for 2010 Model Year Panamera 4S Models
Panamera 4S
Sport Chrono Package Plus
19” Panamera Design Wheel Porsche
Doppelkupplung (PDK)
Servotronic Steering
Adaptive Lighting System
Adaptive Air Suspension
Metallic Paint + Partial Leather
Interior Park Assist Front and Rear, incl. Top-View
Porsche Entry & Drive (Keyless Entry)
Automatic Dimming Interior & Exterior Mirrors
Powerlift Tailgate
Electric Slide/Tilt Glass Sunroof
Porsche Communication Management (PCM)
Telephone Module incl. Bluetooth handset
BOSE Surround Sound
Universal Audio Interface + Six Disc CD Changer
Seat Ventilation (Front) 4 Zone Air Conditioning
Multi Function Steering Wheel
Leather 8 Way Electric Seats
Sunblinds (Rear Side Windows)
Sound Proofing + Heat Resistant Glass Sunblind Behind Rear Compartment
Side airbags rear
I have also added 2 options that were not included above:
- smooth leather key pouch in interior leather color (always seen this but never oredered)
- thanks to someone (dont remember who) on another forum (dont remember which) for pointing out that the stock rear seats fold at a 60/40 distribution.
Adding the "ski bag" option worth around $300 makes the seats come in 40/20/40. So you can keep the 2 rear passenger seats upright while folding down the center (armrest) area for that extra long item you wanna store (like a kayak paddle in my case). This way you can have 2 passengers and also transport something that is long but can only be about 25cm wide (10 inches?).
Does any one have more info on the rear interior lighting package ?
Also, any got a link to download the manual?

update:
just added thes 3 items:
- key pouch in smooth leather inrior (always wanted one from my 2 earlier Porsches)
- ski bag option (allows me to raise/lower the 2 seats and the armesrest independantly as stock only allows you to lower the full rear right passenger seat or the rear left passenger seat & armrest area)
- tow hook system , would be nice to tows bikes and perhaps even my kayak some time.

Sounds like a good spec. The interior lighting package gives two overhead lights for the rear seat passengers. If you plan on transporting people in the back, it looks like a worthy option (and it doesn't look like you're skimping...).

It doesn't - there is a light at the front (like a 911) and nothing for the rest of the car. This one puts a light just behind the front seats for the backseaters to use. It really just adds some lights in the back-middle of the headliner. If you look on the configurator, it's pretty clear where it ends up.
Can't wait to see the finished car!

Chris, I think it does. As I understand it. It adds a second (brighter -led?) light to each passenger overhead light. So each rear passenger will have 2 lights, 1 regular and 1 led. Then the center overhead light.
Also the main front light will be white in color and brighter (and adjustable?) The stock one is an amber rather dim light.
