Multifunction display on Panamera

Well, I have worked my way through all the numerous options on the multifunction display on the dashboard but I am still stumped by one aspect. At around 8 oclock on the display there is a fixed symbol of a gauge with three horizontal slashes just below it. You see this symbol no matter which display is selected(audio, navigation etc....).

Anyone know what it is and how to program it?
