Newbie about to take the plunge on a 4S, color opinions?

Hey guys,

Thinking about ditching my x6 50i for one of three panameras...what do you guys think?

1-Cognac metallic on cognac natural leather with olive wood, car is pretty much loaded with all the luxury options but no sports exhaust option. Is this color too much? I've seen at the showroom and it looked amazing, but I'm a little hesitant!

2- Carbon grey metallic with espresso interior with walnut. This has no cruise control, or ambient lighting package, but has the adaptive seats, thermally insulated and tinted glass and the spyder wheels. I saw the interior but it was pretty dark at the car storage warehouse. What do you guys think of this combo, too dark???

3- Order a brand new one, yachting blue on the two tone cream and yachting blue with mahogany combo.

4- They had an interesting platinum silver with cognac full leather interior and birch wood, but it was an S. I'm worried about not going for the all wheel drive option, although we don't get any snow. performance suffers though right? This one had the exclusive package where the body was all silver colored, and it had the sports exhaust but misses a lot of the luxury options (no roof lining, rear memory package, etc...) Spyder wheels on this one too

So what do you guys think?

Id go with the yachting blue, saw one at a dealership last month with the same combo and it was stunning. And plus the two tone interior seems to really work well on the panamera.

Order it the way you want it, yachting blue would look great.

They all must have cruise control. Even my Cayman has it. Adaptive cruise is optional but basic cruise control should be standard.

I haven't seen the Cognac so can't comment on that.

Carbon grey/espresso/walnut sounds gorgeous. It's only too dark if you don't want a dark car. It is all brown tones which is really rich looking, IMO.

I went with Yachting Blue/Black/Aluminum. It's very refined and elegant with the two tone cream but only if you don't mind being a slave to the interior.

You must not have had your X6 that long, huh? I drove one about 7 months ago and it handled great but man is that rear high. Not good for me @ 5'2.
A little confined in the backseat as well.

Good luck with your decision..it's hard to go too wrong, you know

Order one. If you're getting it new, why not? Yachting with the blue/cream interior is GORGEOUS in person (Porsche had this color at Laguna Seca - Big E, Alzilla, me, etc. all saw it).

Carbon grey is amazing looking in person, too. I'd get a dark interior if I got Carbon Grey though.

Which ever combo you chose it should look good (for a Panamera that is) My favorite color i have seen on the Panamera is just plain and simple black

I like the cognac metallic--classy and unique in my opinion.

Thanks for all your inputs guys. Just some clarification on some points mentioned;

1- All of them do have cruise control, I was referring to the adaptive cruise control, my mistake!

2- True, I've had my X6 for only 1 year and three months...absolutely love the engine, steering and handling, but the black on black was not my choice...it was the only V8 that came in if I didn't mind waiting for 5 months at least. Also no heated seats, and the i drive in 2008 was pretty laggy and slow, rear camera was a disaster, and the Logic 7 was blah! I'm a bit of an audiophile and man that Burmester blew me away!

I think I'm leaning towards the Carbon grey or the cognac (in person it just blows you away)

Will keep you updated on my decision, and keep those opinions coming!

Yachting Blue is getting almost over done. Cognac or Topaz Brown with Cognac Leather. Hot!
