I don't think it's overpriced compared to the only other SUV worth buying, the G55. If you're buying an SUV over $50k, those are the only two to consider IMO.

I agree that they are very expensive b/c with Porsche you pay for EVERYTHING! You say you want floor mats, that'll be $140 please. Want a sunroof? That'll be $1000 please. Want a nav system..... $3600! Crests in the headrest for ~$200! You get the idea....

Having said that, it's the best looking, best driving, best sounding SUV on the market in my opinion. I also have a 2008 RR Sport SC (in the process of selling it now) and while it's a nice vehicle it is very boring compared to the GTS. I don't care for the even more boxy style of the Merc (compared to the RR) so the GTS was a good choice for me. The SRT8 is fast but really but that tacky interior killed it for me......
