Do you think the Porsche's handling/braking is significantly better?

Holy crap yes!

The Panamera really is a 4-door sports car. A few of us have seen them up close and personal back in Monterey. The back looks a little odd, but the car has serious presence. Also, the interior is so much better than anything else in its class.

If I needed a full-size sedan, I'd be ordering one. It's gorgeous, especially with the 20" RS wheel and in Yachting Blue.

The S Class is an old man's car.

I have driven them all, we have a MB franchise as well. The S65 is a hammer. We have done the full Kleeman kit on a few and it's silly. The Pana Turbo is vey fast but where it surpasses the S65 is it really handles. Very different cars. The S63 is not even in the game.

Panamera Turbo sounds like a fun car to drive from the reviews more so than the heavy and softer Benzes.

The restyled S-class is available since this summer, all AMG engines are the same, there are only minor stylistic changes as new LED lights, bumpers and front grill, some changes in the interior - new steering wheels and some other goodies, brand new S-class is still some 3-4 years to wait.

I you want to be driven than S65 AMG is the right chioce imo. If you want to drive than better comparison is between CL65 AMG and Panamera.

I have driven various S-classes, they are too heavy and too chauffeuŗish imo.

With all that said I would choose Panamera Turbo, for me it combines everything I need in my daily driver.
